Ways to Get Involved in WSFPC
There are many ways to get involved in peace activities with WSFPC:
MONTHLY MEETINGS...
MONTHLY EDUCATION FORUM: Held the Third Tuesday of each month. These events feature knowledgeable speakers on a wide variety of peace related topics, as well as time for questions & answers, snacks and fellowship time. All events are free and open to the public. See the EVENTS Calendar for specific dates & topics.
Time: 7:00 p.m. on the Third Tuesday of each month.
Location: Lombard Mennonite Church, 528 E. Madison St, Lombard, IL 60148
PLANNING MEETINGS: Held the 2nd Thursday of each month. These meetings are where the priorities and direction of the coalition get worked out. We envision together, evaluate what we've done, and plan what's next. They're a lively give and take, where we talk about what's called for at this particular moment in time, and how we can meaningfully live out our call to faithful peacemaking together. This is also where decisions of the coalition get made.
Time: 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd Thursday of each month. See EVENTS Calendar.
Location: Lombard Mennonite Church, 528 E. Madison St, Lombard, IL 60148
