... a send-off to the 10:30am Chicago Temple Peace Rally

What:
Those concerned for peace - from across the west suburbs, will mark the anniversary of the start of the US war in Iraq - with a LARGE Peace Rally in Downers Grove. Four major west suburban peace organizations are working jointly on what is expected to be a large peace rally in Downers Grove, 8:30 a.m. Saturday March 20th. West Suburban Faith-based Peace Coalition, DuPage Peace Through Justice Coalition, Pax Christi Illinois and DuPage Against War Now are planning this joint public event.
It will be a one hour Peace Rally featuring peace songs and speakers from the four participating peace organizations. We'll gather around the fountain, just south of the train station. It's important that we show publicly (in our west suburbs) the breadth of participation calling for peace in Iraq. Please encourage all friends and supporters to attend this important event.
Additionally:
Many attending the DG rally, will then ride the 9:40 train (non-stop) into Chicago to attend the 10:30 a.m. rally at the Chicago Temple. There is plenty of public parking at the Downers Grove Station. All are encouraged to attend both the Downers Grove and Chicago Temple Rallies if possible. It will be a wonderful 'Peace Train' train ride into Chicago.
Bring:
Friends and neighbors, peace signs & posters, banners, water, comfortable walking shoes (and maybe sun bloc!!)
