Join us for a day of prayerful reflection, deepening spirituality and strengthening the bonds of peace community, as we explore sustaining our work for peace in these troubling times. The day will include reflection on sacred texts, time for prayer &reflection, small group sharing, music, singing and more.

*** A Simple Lunch Will Be Served ***

Suggested donation for the Retreat is $15. All are welcome and no-one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Our Retreat Leader will be:
Father Bob Bossie, SCJ, of the Eighth Day Center for Justice in Chicago. Bob is a member of the Priests of the Sacred Heart. He has worked at Eighth Day since 1980 on issues of peace, human rights, economics and non-violence. He is a frequent speaker across the Chicagoland area (and beyond) and frequently leads Retreats for peace groups and religious communities across the country. He is a co-founder of Voices in the Wilderness and helped lead three VITW peacemaking delegations to Iraq. Bobs gentle spirit and breadth of knowledge in areas of peace, nonviolence and small faith communities are sure to make this an inspiring day of personal growth and enrichment.
